Work experience is not required, however, candidates with limited or non-existent full-time work experience are less likely to be granted admission.  On average, entering students have approximately 5 years of full-time postgraduate work experience prior to applying to business school.  Every year, the Mendoza College of Business accepts a very small number of candidates (3-5 out of a class of 135) with no work experience.
